Mason Jar Science – A Kid’s Workshop

April 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us as we turn the Makers’ Mill into a science lab!

Thanks to Storey Publishing, we will conducting experiments from the soon-to-be released book Mason Jar Science by Jonathan Adolph. During this workshop, kids will learn core scientific principles while watching a few demonstrations that use mason jars and other materials they can find at home. The workshop ends with participants making their own goo (slime). Parents rejoice! No need to make a mess in your own kitchen! The workshop is expected to run about an hour and parents should stay for the duration of the event. Children ages 8-12 are best suited for this workshop.

Tickets for this event are $5 per child. Please register to guarantee your spot as the event is limited to 20 participants.

Note: Photos will be taken during the event. Let us know if you are uncomfortable with your child being photographed and we will avoid taking their photo. Photos taken during the event may be used by North Adams Makers’ Mill and Storey Publishing for publicity and marketing purposes and may be used in printed and online publicity, on social media, in newspapers and magazines, or in any other ways that further the aims of both organizations.
