Dear Mill Supporter:
The North Adams Makers ‘ Mill Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to close our maker space at the end of September due to financial constraints.
Since opening in June of 2015, Makers’ Mill has hosted more than 180 members and more than 70 workshops on topics including screen printing, bookbinding, sewing, knitting, felting, fabric dying, printmaking, children’s crafts, and more. More than 120 artists from A4A’s artist residency program have created art there. Makers’ Mill has been the home to a figure drawing group, a knitting group, open studio events, poetry readings, film screenings, and a variety of community engagement events.
The Makers’ Mill Board is grateful for your support. We also offer our deepest thanks to the Makers’ Mill Studio Manager, May Beattie, and to all our volunteers.
Questions can be directed to me at [email protected].
