In this themed screen printing workshop, we will design and print our own moths to be submitted to the crowd-sourced exhibit “Cross Pollination” which will be installed in New Mexico later this summer. Learn the basics of screen printing in this fun and lepidopterous group making event!
Check out the Moth Migration Project Facebook page to see what other people are creating.
$50 Class limit: 6
Instructor: Sarah Pike
Note from Instructor: We will start the workshop creating drawings of moths that we will later print. I will have images of moths for you to work from but feel free to bring your own. If you bring your own image try printing it out so that the width of the moth is 6″ or smaller. This will be helpful if you’re not confident in your drawing skill. No need for a fancy color image. A simple black & white print from your computer is fine.
